I figured it wouldn't hurt putting the original filter back in, but figured I should ask the Dodge guru's here first.

When you say "two boxes" connected to the pyros, do you mean two pyrometers, or what? If two pyrometers, why would someone want/need two?

Any ideas on where I would find the downloader/chip/etc. that may (or may not) be in the truck somewhere? I checked at the ECM and haven't found anything. (Haven't seen anything else out of the ordinary in the engine compartment, but could have missed it) If there isn't a downloader or anything, any other ideas on what else to look for?

Thanks.

what I mean by the two pyro's is one went to a gage and the other went to a box so it would defuel if the temps got too hot. theres no way to realy tell if there was a box like that unless you see the glue from the velcro that is normaly used to hold the box ontop of the fuse box (I'm useing a huge ziptie)

if there is a downloader on it you would not be able to tell bu running through the computer.

Ok, I guess I'm a bit confused about the "downloader" then. I had assumed you were talking about a device that went between the ECM and it's inputs/outputs, who's settings can often be changed on the fly, etc. Are you talking about something that actually changes the code in the computer? If so, will a total removal of system power for X minutes bring things back to normal?

Thanks.
