Default The ball dropped,,, its dead

Well, it's finally happened, my luck has run out. Got in the truck this morning, cranked, and cranked, and cranked some more,,,,,,,,,,nothing. The engine spun and spun but would never start. I tried removing the programmer and it got to some point and froze up. I called BD, the guy tried like 4 or 5 things, but it still wouldn't work. He told me that the program was erased out of the truck comp. and if Dodge tries to say that I had a programmer, never admit to anything and swear that I never had one. Anyways, the dealership had to come and get it, so my babys spending the night there. They're gonna call me in the morning. The handheld did say something about the truck having some TSB flash, and that I had to go to bullydog.com to upgrade. I tried this, but the programmer still acts funny. I'll probably have to send it in.

Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Bummer!

You know I've seen that TSB message too. How does the BDTD know?

I mean I have seen this message immediatley after updating the dog and then puting the program on the truck. I just kept going couse I knew I just updated.

But if you havnt had it (the truck) in the shop and are just changing the setting or (in my case) uninstall BDTD and reboot the ecm (removed batt. term for 15-20) to get it to relearn a less aggressive drive style how does it know?

Wierd.

The mans got his finger on us all one way or another.

Best of luck and update as you can.

Dunn0, I thought about disconnecting the batteries,,,, but I tell ya, I have so much going on, I don't know where to begin, I don't know if I'm coming or going anymore. My doc uped the dosage of adivan so I can calm down, I tell ya, if it isn't one thing it's another. My programmer is acting funny too, I plugged it in my comp. to go bact to version 2.3.2, I think I'm gonna have to sent it to Bully Dog and have it reprogrammed.

LOL, yup, I was feeling a bit violent. Not towards my wife or little girl, but towards drs, dealerships,,,, the list goes on. Kept waking up with terrible awful headaches. I could probably use some counseling, lol. Yes, the DOD can produce some scaaarry people.

Drew, thats the weird thing. When I plug the BDTD into my laptop, it reads the following, "RECOVERY MODE : your vehicle is erased please cycle key to off position then turn key to run position. press Y to recover." when I do this, this is what comes up "WARNING: TSB found on your vehicle. Please download the TriDog upgrade from bullydog.com." any ideas?

did you check for codes? I'm begining to wonder if you had a crank or cam sensor to go out. But then again the ECM could have been fried somehow.

I tried to check for codes when the engine wouldnt start, but it wouldn't do it. When I tried to erase the programmer (thinking that might be the problem) it got to like 52% and froze. The tech at BD said that the vin was erased or lost and tried to reset it in the programmer like 4x's but to no avail. I think my programmer is fryyyyyed.
