Just gettin ready to make my frist oil change on my 06 cummins, mileage 6000, Just curious as to what brand filters the guys on here have had good luck with. This is the first diesel i have owned. On all our semis we run luberfiner filters but i don't really know whats out there for pickups.... ne help would be great.. Most of the guys around here run Rotella 15W 40 oil, what do u all think/ run..

Thanks Stuck

I run nothing but Rotella T 15-40. Year round.

Believe it or not I am sold on STP oil filters. Prefer them to Fram and K&N.

Just my 2 cents.

Take care.

Many around here use Fleetguard being that they are owned by Cummins. That and you can get Fleetguards best oil Filter, Stratapore for $10.50 over at: http://www.genosgarage.com/

I use Mobil Delvac, some use Delo 400, Cummins Blue and also Shell Rotella T, but it's up to you on what to use so long as it is a CI-4 or CI-4+ oil that is rated for diesels engines.

Gino's ROCKS, all filter pricing is way reasonable. I bought a supply on one order, oh yea!
