Default Trailer Hitches

I have a gooseneck traier and soon a 5th wheel travel trailer. My question is this; is it best to get the rail kit that is interchangable with the 5th wheel kit and the g-neck plate or get a g-neck ball and get an adapter for the 5th wheel? are the adapters safe? do they tow good?

adapters to go from a ball to a 5vr are asking for trouble. the ball is not designed to handle the loading a 5vr produces plus the 5vr will be more stable with a true 5th wheel in the bed.

the interchangable plate is realy the best way to go, and the safest.
