Default speed limiter

We have an '06 megacab 4wd auto with an airraid intake as well as the opened up spacer to the turbo. we are in the market for the bullydog. What we want to know is if we put this on will it remove the speed limiter. We did the trybuy and it did not remove the limiter but it sure got there a lot quicker.

I have the BullyDog Triple Dog and there was no option to remove a speed limiter. I will say that its an AMAZING little box. Do we have a speed limiter? Im not sure I want to go much faster than 100 or so anyway in something this big with a parachute or huge anchor to throw overboard ....

speed limiter usualy kicks in around 104-110. it isnt like a gasser where the computer shuts the engine off, the computer on these trucks just de-fuels so you cannot go faster.

Bullydog is a company that makes performance parts for diesel motors. I believe their biggest seller is their electronic box's that add power and torque.

If you look up bullydog, you will get a lot of information on who they are and what they do. Also realize they are just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to performance parts.

Is THAT why I couldn't get much past 105 ??

I had my foot nailed to the floor and I couldn't get it to go any faster until I went downhill. Where is this speed limiter thing and can I remove it ??

the only way to remove or raise the speed limiter is by reporgramming the computer.

200 bucks to remove something that shouldn't have been there in the first place. [:@]
