theres a guy near me with a white 97 2wd 5spd that is BOMBed big time, SBC conFE, 370 injectors, HTT62 (I think) and a P7100 that is crunk. about a year ago I rode with him for a little bit, he did a HUGE burnout. I later on measured with my odometer and the burnout was a full 1/4 mile[sm=jawdrop.gif]

You guys are cracking me up - in one post you're concerned about mileage, the next you're talking about doing things that are the furthest from good mileage practices.

Are we (notice I say we) just a bunch of kids who grew up on the outside, but still love that thrill we get showing off? I have noticed lately that other guys in lifted trucks cruising down the road check me out when I'm in my truck - I almost find that creepy but then I think it ties in with the kids-in-disguise theory! And I have to admit I'm checking out their equipment too - the kind on the truck!

once a motorhead, always a motorhead.... my goal has been to get the mileage and ***** to the wall performance when I want it. i'm almost there. I can consistently get low 15's and obviously can turn up the TST when needed. Besides, the guys at work have been asking about it so the time was right... they were there and I was on my way out so what the hell?

as for being a kid inside... uh, I've never grown up... take care of my business of course but hey, your only as old as you feel! [sm=icon_rock.gif]

btw, the bands I listen too are... metallica, rage, audioslave etc... similar to what I listened to when growing up... ac/dc, led zepp, van halen etc... grow up, healll no!

I told him to go do the research on the fords/chevy's/dodges on the forums and see what kind of problems they all have. I did before getting mine and found the forums were full of people trying to solve their problems... didnt find that on any dodge site. there are a few here or there on the dodge sites but nothing like what I found on the furd/cheby's...
Thats what happened to me... I was so set on getting a Ford cause I've always driven and loved 'em... Then I started reading and decided to drive a Dodge...It was love at first drive... I just get a rush when i drive the thing.
