RE: Front Leveling Kit
I got it all finished up. I just went to the parts store and rented a spring compressor. I wonder why they dont tell you in the instructions that you need one. There was no way i could have got it in there without it. I put the frame rails and jack stands and let the front end hang down all the way. Plus i was prying on it. Its done though. I love the way it looks. It changes the whole look of the truck. Now i just got to get my air bags for the rear.

I know for myself...I had Les Schwabbys do it...When you have a small one car garage, and you buy yoru rig in the P. North West Winter...Crawling in the snow isnt something I go for.
But your right, changes the look of the rig, and allows you to fit 35's under it without rub!!
Looks Good!!

RE: Front Leveling Kit
Ok, here is my problem. I had a 2" leveling kit put on my 07 1500 4x4 at les schwab. Ever since I have experienced a thumping noise and vibration only on the front drivers side, after going over a bump. I have taken it in several times and they are not sure what is wrong. I hear that the kits on half tons are not common, and that there is the whole "death wobble" issue. I am debating having it removed, but i love the look of it. I have also started to notice that my alignment is off. Any advice???

Tony, welcome to the Dodge Forum. You just posted a reply to a year-old thread in the Cummins Diesel section. All of us have a Ram 2500 or 3500, although a few may be familiar with the problem you're having with your half-ton. You may want to post your question as a new thread on the3rd Gen forum.
