I just got my hearter cord...where does it go?
I picked up my hearter cord... I heard it just plugs into the block an the passanger side near the oil filter? I have to wait till it stops raining before I can put it on. Just want to be sure before I start and then have issues. I dont like issues Thanks.

If you look down between the exhaust manifold and block at about 45 deg. from the front on passenger side you should see it. There's a fitting nut sticking out of the block behind the oil filter. You might have to kneel on the bumper to see it.(I did).

RE: I just got my hearter cord...where does it go?
I just installed mine the other day. Remove the tube running from the turbo to the air box, makes it a simple install and its only 2 hose clamps. Be careful though because now the turbo fins are exposed and you dont want to drop anything in there. Once its removed, lean over the passenger fender and put your head pretty much where the tube was you just removed. There will be a little "cap" with a knurl on it right on the side of the head. Unscrew that cap, and the new cord will push in (there are 4 little pins you have to line up on the cord), then screw the retaining ring onto the part affixed to the head. All thats left is to run the cord to the front of the truck. I ran mine along the wiring running from the motor to the battery down to the frame and out the front. I ziptied it to the front right tow hook so that I can push it back out of sight until I need it. I didnt even have to jack up the truck to run the cord (4x4) and the whole install took 10 minutes at best ....
