Swapped trucks with Jason (DieselNut) last night so he could do the VB install this morning. I should be getting it back by noon. he's also going to check the bands while he's in there and ulitmately doing my tranny service since it's due in under 1k miles.

oh yeah, RE: Jasons truck... holly crap that trucks got *****...all of it on the top end. He mentioned that he's got 100 hp injectors installed which helps out the bottom end quite nicely, however when the turbo spools to 40 in the blink of an eye... hold on. his truck is a nice setup, however for me, too much tilted towards the top end performance. I am happy to have had the chance to drive it and feel what twins feels like.

I'm sure Jason will be THRILLED to hear that you are beating the snot out of his truck while he's repairing yours.

you know, something just hit me. . .if it has *****. . .all on the top end. . .something aint right.

 

Actually, I didnt beat on it, just let the turbo spool up the way it should and saw what it can do. I never broke any speedlimits [sm=devilangel.gif] and my philosopy is dont beat it if you cant afford to fix it.

cant... already have 2nd's on all 4 homes... it helped me to get 4 homes
