so i finally recived my recall letter for my transmission.... hope all goes well...need to set up appointment.... ahhhhh!

yeah, I wouldnt install that backup alarm recall... I hear ALOT of guys who have had it install complain big time that they want it removed...

What Dc doesnt tell you is once its installed, it cant be undone.

I got my second letter for the "back-up" recall.... it is now shredder food like the first one..

well.... they said they would check the transmission 1st. i want it checked... and if there is a problem...well **** get me a new one. i dont want to hear an alarm going off...like the dam seat belt one...now thats anoying too

that one can be programmed off (seat belt), IIRC, get in buckle up, turn key on, then release seatbelt and then re-engage it 3x, look at your dash and IIRC, either your CE light or seatbelt light will flash and your done. this procedure is in your manual.

I'm glad my 01 doesn't have that anoying backup alarm. But if it did, the darn thing can be disabled with about $10 worth of parts from Radio Shack.
