with the 6" tip you'd loose the bonus of having the tip pointed to the rear.

Naw, it's turned back also. It was off a peterbilt, we couldn't get it off the muffler without cutting it, customer opted to go all new insted.

Steve, now I have a aero 4040xl, and thats it. the rest is 4" pipe, with the 5" tip on the end. It did get a little more noiser than before, but I love it. I love getting next to someone and stompin it, I can just see them cussin me. If I can ever come up with the money I want to get the smarty programmer, and smoke like Drew. I kept the cat. but if it ever gets too loud, I will probably just add another aero inline with it, or something like that.

having the magnaflow in line with the aero makes it pretty quiet. I've heard alot of guys running the cat & straight pipe and loving it. Too loud for me... the mag was loud until it broke in then it toned itself down some.

yeah, I'm gonna roll with this setup for a while, and see. It will make some noise though.
