Fuel Prices?
Just noticed this weekend that fuel can be had as low as $2.58/gal in Central Cali. Haven't seen anything lately about how much lower it's supposed to go, or for how long it will stay that way. Anybody on the forum have some input? Or inside scoop?
I just filled up over in Jersey for $2.40 a gallon. Jersey is always about 25 cents or so less than Philly. I don't know which grade of diesel fuel it was though. It wasn't marked.
Wallmart here in north IA dropped to $2.33 yet 4 miles west 2 stations went up 5 cents. None of the prices around the country make any sense. Now CA prices are a different story as all them rich people own 4 houses can aford it

yes, for about another week or 2, #1 is in escrow... then i'll be down to 3... and if I can get my *** over to house #2 and finish the work on it, then I can get it on the market. yup, liquidating... holding onto #3 and may be selling #4 early next year.
If you head down 99 before you get to Modesto you should see $2.58/gal - of course, by the time you get there you will have burned up any savings over the $2.69 you have close to you. Same problem I have - I can go to Goshen and get it for that - but the 30 mile RT drive will eat up any savings I get over just buying it close to me...
