Default Bully Dog

I may have the oportunity to purchase a used Bully Dog Power Pup. I always like to look at the pro and con of things like this. I will be using it on a 2003 4x4, so, lb, oh and its red. I just want to possibly enhance the mileage some and be able to tune it to tow when I need to. So all you Hot rod, mod ctd folks comments please.

it's a good box, but you need to watch it. the downloaders leave a footprint in the computer the dealership can see. most of the time it is a change in the start sequencing. if you keep it low you will notice a mileage increase as well as better throttle responce.

just remember, you have to pay to play. and the only downloader I know of right now that doesnt leave a footprint is the smarty from mads electronics.

I bought the truck at 134000 and is out of warrantee. I don't think that at this point leaving a footprint should cause me any problems. If anyone knows otherwise i would like to know about it before I spend the money.

I have an 06 with the Triple Dog and I love mine, these things are awesome. I'm not sure how much it differs from the Power Pup, I'm sure it cant be much. I keep mine on the lowest setting, and it gives me plenty of power. Of course, if I come into some *extra* money
I would like to have the Smarty like Drew.
