Default Diff covers

I was looking at a magazine yesterday and this company had an ad. The ad used a Ram to display these, they look pretty sweet.

http://www.oasisdifferentialcovers.com/dodge.html

They had an installation write up on them in the mag (I forgot which mag I bought) and it looks pretty sweet when finished. You can add an extra quart of fluid over stock and I guess the cover is magnetic should there be any metal shavings, it adhears to the cover.

Anyone running something like this?

those are pretty slick. most rear ends have a magnet in the fill plug. the one on our trucks is. and draining the oil without removeing the cover is nice, but for a truck this big I would like to see the gears, carrier, and breakings every so often to make sure I havent broken any teeth.

I have a Mag-Hytec rear diff cover. It is great. I put the cover on at 15,000 miles and filled it with Amsoil 75w-90. I just changed it again at 30,000 miles and it was easy. Draining it out of the plug is much neater that pulling the cover. The extra volume is a bonus too.

I also added the DD Trans pan and will be putting the front diff cover on my truck on Monday.

Good luck with the Mag-hytec front cover. I have all three covers. I love them all except the front one. It adds only a tiny bit more fluid capacity, it cost the most of the three, and it hits over bumps. I have the production model, it does not have a X in the serial. My suspension is all stock.
