Default Oil filters .... which one

Ok, I'm looking at the Fleetguard oil filters, and it looks like I have my choice of 2. They offer either a Standard or a Stratapore. What's the difference between the two and which one do you use and reccomend?

Mayfair,

Remember to read the directions, install once. Better make that 10 times until its all clear in your head what to do then install it.

Geno's that is where I get all my filters. We know you can do it, so good luck [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Hopefully I won't strip the pan threads on what should be my last time taking out the plug.

Remeber, its not a CAT so you shouldn't use a 3/4" drive rachet. Just go until it strips then back it off 1/4 turn

Yeah, I've got one and I'll use it for the install. What IS the required torque on the stock drain plug?

Here's my new one ...
