Default fuel injector problem

i have a 2005 2500 4x4 diesel w/edge juice with attitude. 2 of my injectors are coming up with codes and a very bad knock. took to dealer but edge voids warranty. should i go aftermarket for injectors or stay stock either way im trying to find 2 injectors cheaper than $100 a piece(dealers price).

First off why did you leave the Edge on it when you took it in, but the when you play you got to pay some times. To me $100.00 each sounds very cheap being Mopar parts wants $440.00 for them. You better go back run back and buy them ASAP. In fact you better buy a few spares at that price. Oh BTW, BulyDog wants over $500.00 for there injectors!

Good Luck

ah, so it isnt... he must be down right now, he mentioned he was moving his shop so he might have his site down for the move. I'll see if I can get a hold of him and ask him about the injectors if your interested in used ones. let me know.

If your only replacing 2 you gotta go stock, now it would be easy to upgrade them all since you would already have your valve cover off. I've been hearing very good thing about dynomite diesel here in monroe, washington. You should take a look at them, I know 4 people who personally have them in their trucks and love them.

good point Jake... the only ones that I have found on the CR motors are 100 HP injectors. that will kill your fuel economy but help with mosquito control...

Dynomite can also build you custom hp level injectors so you can get what ever you want. I know one guy whos running 75 horse injectors and when he gets on it he smokes like a freight train. He dyno'ed it and was close to 75 more horsepower.

what would be interesting to find out is if you had a box on top of it, how does the fuel pressure respond at the higher settings... I'll be it runs the rail dry.

I thought of getting injectors for mine if I could find 25 hp ones... prefer to keep it low so if I need good mileage I can get it. with 75 or 100 hp ones, kiss the mileage goodbye.
