Actually, I am a cop, kind of (still have full powers of arrest). I was one for 9.5 years and now I am the Emergency Management Director for a Kansas county. This was an ID picture that I had in the file. Sorry to scare everyone.

I'm kind of a little guy though. About 6'4" and 250lbs

 

Dang, I was going to ask ya for advise So why the desk job now?

 

Slightly more money, 8am to 4pm weekdays, don't have to worry about shooting anybody again (I hope), department head (my own boss), get to spend lots of money (about $500,000 in the last two years), more time with the spousal unit and kids. The local Sheriff's Office is really screwed up. One of the deputies killed himself and the Sheriff tried to commit suicide last year. Thinking about running for Sheriff in a couple of years or maybe municipal magistrate (don't have to be an attorney for that).

Works for me. I got out of the sheriff's office just in time before the drug me down with them. If ya'll ever get on I-70 in western KS, let me know. We could shoot some guns and drink some beer (after the gun thing of course).

Good lookin deer, haven't been able to get one this season. They aren't in the rut and snow hasn't brought em down yet. Lookin forward to hunting elk during thanksgiving
