Default my turbo quit singing...

so there I am driving on the hiway on the way to the gym, come up and over an overpass and on the downside and my turbo quits singing to me. WTF??? I check the boost and it's at 6psi (I usually hear it at about 5 & up), so I lay into it a little and here it come back. could the altitude change of the overpass effected my whistle? <jk>

I brought the boost up to about 10~15 psi and could hear the turbo once agian but it's very faint. I'm guessing I just happend to hear the point when my filter has come to the point where it's not flowing so good anymore. time for a cleaning. it was just weired to hear it one second, then gone the next. I may yank the silencer ring so that doesnt happen again...

I'm amazed you havent yanked that thing out already. . .your behind the times man.

when I downshift and the boost is at 0psi I can hear mine just like a big rig. . .coolest thing in the world. anything over 15pounds and it's like a 747 going to full throttle.

well your right... however with the afe in there you can here it pretty loud to begin with. I just was unsure of how loud it would get with the ring gone. Maybe this weekend... I think I might actually be free...
