Default Well, I did it...

yanked the silencer ring while servicing the AFE.

and as expected... lost low end torque from the AFE servicing. (did this last time I cleaned it).

dude, my personal problems with torque are about over... lol

the sound is different and not what I expected. I was expecting a whistle and not a rasp. I thought it would be just louder than what it already was. keep in mind I have the AFE filter on there which is pretty damn big.

hummm, I wonder if I have a problem then. mine sounds funny to me. kinda like it has asthma... wheezy. w/o the ring it was a conastant whine which sounded fine to me.


oh btw, I wanna put a popsicle stick in there to make it click, like what I used to do to the bikes when I was little...<jk>

I thought yor supposed to use baseball cards. Mine is a little wheeze down low 5- 15 psi but screams up high 25-35 psi.
