Default body lift

dont know if this is really the right place so sorry if its wrong but i have a question if i get a body lift can i still tow with my bumper? i was looking at a kit and it didnt allow to tow with the bumper thanks alot

The quick answer is no. The reason is that most bumpers are bolted directly to frame. Once you install a body lift, the bumper is raised using brackets which cannot support much weight. I have a Performance Accessories body and I cannot tow with the bumper. The good news is that you can buy a no drill no weld receiver for fairly cheap and tow all you want.

ok im dumb i just looked at my bumber and my hitch isnt connected to my bumber its under neath i thought it was connected to the bottom of my bumber
