hey, have any of you guys had any dealings with the cfm+ intake manifold. any good or what? if not then which one!!!

nope never heard of the cfm+ intake (unless it's the carbon fiber one). I have the ATS diesel arc flow and love it.

just purchased one myself. It hasn't arrived yet though.

Seems to me it gonna be a great intake. carbon fiber is a bullet proof material.

As they claim, it's not a conductor of heat which in intakes is obviously a good thing.

The CFM's are very high compared to stock.

It's weight can also be a added plus since the CTD's are heavy as hell anyway in the front.

I guess I'll be finding out soon

 

well you JUST opened yourself up to some picture taking... you have to post some pics and give feedback on the performance & fit & finish of the intake. Also, is it pre-drilled/tapped for boost guage, injection , intake temp etc?

I dont know of anyone who has one of these and i'm sure there are a few who want to know how it does.

I never really introduced myself here and need to show some colors!
I recently bought a 2007 3500 5.9L Mega I'm finding it really hard to stop the mods already !

I'll list the mods I've done with my post. It'll be a few weeks yet as I want to get my lift installed with my
new tires and rims before I post any pics.

The only thing the intake is tapped for is the oil stick support. I don't plan on any injection. I already have the
boost, EGT, trans temp gauges installed.

 

things you should look for before and after the install are things like how fast the boost comes up, egt's up or down, passing abilities...

I found that after my ATS intake install, passing was alot easier and it didnt want to downshift as much.
