Default Installed my new intake

Well I installed my S&B cold air intake and removed the silencer ring...WOW!!!! It sounds just like a 747 going down the highway, I love it. [8D]

I put her back in stock mode and it is unreal, no need for the extreme mode unless I really want to spank someone! Shes alot more responsive and just sounds awesome

cool, watch your tranny though... last thing you want is for it to start slipping on you.

I know, my mechanics keeps teeling me Iam on the border line for what it can take as far as power...I have heard that as long as you can keep it cool tho it should be ok...what do you think?
Or should I change the valve body before giving her any more power?

depends on how you use the power... mine typically is set to 1/2 or 1/3 (TST) for everyday driving. 3/5 or up to 5/5 for having fun. I'm looking forward to getting a HP rebuild kit for mine plus the TC ($1700 bux... ouch). I think that will be all i'll need for what I do with my truck.

Gotta have the valve body. Even if the fluid is cool, when the clutches slip material is removed.

Any recomendations on a good valve body? or a rough idea of cost?
