ok, now for the important stuff...
the Stockton Thunder (ECHK team) are 4-0-0 in their young season. and if you go back to the pre-season they are 7-0 in all games this year. not bad for a 2nd year team.

 

How bout them Tips

12 wins, 1 loss, 1 shootout loss, leading U.S. devision with 25pts. I think I smell another devision championship.

 

they sound pretty strong...

Went to the thunder game tonight... down 2-1 with under 10 minutes left, tied it with under 5 minutes on 3 5 on 3 power plays, then scored on a 5 on 4 power play with under 2 minutes left. THEN we went on a penalty kill and they yanked their goalie for the last 90 seconds.

damn what an exiciting game.

Thunder 5-0 and 8-0 if you include the 3 pre-season games...

Thanksgiving, the time to get out and go hunting while relatives are here

 

speaking of relatives... last year I took my wife, her mom and nephew to a Fresno Falcons/Thunder game down in fresno... sad they can barely get 4500 people to go to their games... might be doing it again this year.

 

4500 would be packed at the events center. Always have fun parking in the garage. Have to pull the antennas off. I thought the exhaust was loud till I got in there[sm=icon_sneaky.gif]

 

we did the garage thing on our 1st game... 1 way in & 1 way out, 5 levels. sucked big time. we learned our lesson and park about 2~3 blocks away on the street. easy in, easy out. on the freeway in less than 15 minutes from our seats.

 

When there is a game here, the is no parking for about 5 or 6 blocks. The free tickets came with a free parking pass to the garage. 1" roof clearance and about 16" side to side left over Had to grease the hips to get her through the door[&:] Funny the looks on everybodies faces when I pulled that thing in.
