shifting problem PLS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default shifting problem PLS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a dodge ctd 2500 2001 the electronic torque converter looses signal intermitanly and the dealer can't seam to find why any suggestions!!! It does it when you have the truck under load ie. up hill ac on. I locks and unlocks repeatedly.

Has anyone checked all the wiring. Could be chaffed wire/s.

they checked all wireing and cleaned all grounds

Have the dealership check the plunger position on the brake light switch. If it is out of adjustment, the tc will kick in and out. It will also be near impossible for the cruise control to keep speed. Notice if slight bumps kick the TC in and out.


It's a long shot but it was common back in the mid 90's on the Rams...
