Has anyone tried this?

RE: Has anyone tried this?
Well I have had the opportunity to run 3 tanks now since I got mine.
The vedict?
Well I saw a reduction of about 2.4, 1.7, and 3.4 mpg for an average of 2.5. [:@]
The third tank was showin off for the in laws .
Now I cant tell ya if this is due to the Stanadyne or winter blend (happened about the same time) but I can say that this is prob the quietest the truck has ran.
From off the lot to the addition of the brew I noticed a reduction in noise and then again with the Statadyne.
Hell, could be break in too. At 27K only time will tell.

Yep on both.
Really quiet.
When I say it dropped I mean it dropped from my ave. of 17 (18.9 highway 14.9 city)
A couple weeks back there were a few posts about a loss of mpg and some were attributing it to the "winter blend". At that time I hadnt seen any dif. Then the next fill up I dropped 3.7 mpg (drews brew) with a little change in driving habbits. Still mostly highway but also a little more in town. That was a bit of a shock. That was the first time I have seen anything below 14.
The tank after that was the first tank of Statadyne and came in at 14.6. After that came 15.3 and then 13.6 for the inlaws.
So, again some noted anywhere from 1-3 mpg loss d/t the arrival of the winter blend. If this is the case then it looks like the two brews would be about the same.
In two weeks I have two 1k round trips scheduled so I'll try each "brew" (2 tanks each trip) and see what I get.
This current tank I expect to be better as I just changed the oil. We'll see. After these trips I should be switchin to synthetic. Cant wait!
