I'LL TRY TO GET SOME PICS. THIS WILL BE MY FIRST TIME DOING IT TOO SO I KNOW THERE WILL BE SWARING AND BLEEDING INVOLVED...BUT THEN AGAIN YOURE NOT REALLY "WORKING" ON A VEHICLE UNTIL IT MAKES YOU BLEED. THATS WHEN YOU KNOW YOURE WORKING HARD. 
I WILL BE DOING IT THIS WEEKEND. JUST GOT THE PUMP AND CAM SENSOR. HOPEFULLY IT GOES AS PLANNED. ALL MY TOOLS ARE AT MY GARAGE SO IM GONNA BE A BACKYARD MECHANIC WITH MINIMAL TOOLS.[sm=badidea.gif] I'LL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED

I can see it now, Donny nukes his VP44 and orders the HRVP44 and ends up going faster in the 1/4 than his race car

Does the HRVP44 have the power only when you put your foot into it, or am I going to see a noticable difference in MPG with normal driving if I install this on my truck? I also have a hypertech chip on my 01 CTD, can you still use this or will the combination of both start breaking other parts?
My VP44 is original and has 161k on it. I am expecting it to go out any time now and want to be ready for when it dies. I know of only 2 people that got more than 200k on an original vp44.
