anyone have stock navigation
IM trying to get it to do voice derictions and I cant figure it out. I dont have an instruction manual(if there is one).
Im just wondering if any of you guys have one and could shed some light.
What could be part of the problem is that I cant shut the radio off while the navigation is on.

I have one. For the lady to talk to you, you have to set in a way point. Input a address by choosing " destination " .
You have to put the whole address in. Once done... hit all the ok's to get out and start off down the road. The lady will kick in
and start telling you what to do. She's very accurate ! You can only hear her out of the front driver side speaker.
The Navigation is a part of the radio and feeds from the same power so if you turn the radio off, you've turned the whole system off.
Ram It,
As Triton said you do have to program a destination. Once this is completed it will show up on the screen "calculating route" Once the route is calculated then the voice will kick in. If you have gotten to the "Calculating Route" part then the only other thing I can say / suggest is that the voice has its own volume control.
Say the radio is on and you change the volume at the exact time she is talking her voice will either go up or down. I think her voice is set to a certain level as a defualt so this may have happened to you. By the way thats exactly how I found out about her voice was by changing the volume when she was talking.
If this doesnt help I'll check back later and take a look at the "settings" in mine.
Good luck.
