Are you running Optima batteries in your truck? How do you like them?

No, I bought the truck with Wal Mart batteries last May. I just replaced them with Die Hards, I usually run Interstate in my Datsun and Nissan Z cars. Are the Optima better batteries for these trucks

Not better for the truck, just better batteries. I put two in mine and say they are definatly worth the price. Truck doesn't crank any slower when it is cold out like it used to.

Jakebrake,
Thanks for the counsel. Since these Die Hards were advertised as having better cold cranking power and they are a change for me from Interstates - and they are installed already - I will work with these and see how they do. Keeping the Optima's in mind for the next time. I tend to keep a vehicle for the long haul. This truck is replacing a 72 Jeepster Commando that is going to somebody that wants a fully functional nearly rust free project.
