silencer ring
a few dumb questions
1) my turbo looks different there seems to be plastic baffles to direct air into turbo on the turbo.
2) by removing silencer ring will it help with mpg
3) why does it seem that all the questions on this page seem to be about upgrading our trucks and not fixing them like other sights
see i told you guys they were dumb...
truck is an 06 megacab 4wd with open intake and exhaust, new 285/70 17 bfg allterrains no programmer yet new baby just arrived 5 weeks ago.
car is an 06 charger r/t with all the bells and whistles
former 05 ford king ranch 4wd dually owner beautiful truck but it liked going back to dealer too much blew head gasket with just 66000 pos but looked good

The jury is still out, but unfortunately I don't think so. This mod is primarily done for for cool / LOUD factor.

You think so? I think this site does an EXCELLENT job of BOTH. I've gotten help doing stock things ( changing stock fuel filter ) as well as some cool mods ( ring removal )

No such thing !! Please don't EVER be shy about asking ANYTHING here. I think I can speak for everyine here when I say that as much as we all like to have fun, we all really want to alos help each other out.

no pics but can get them soon
not that we don't get questions answered it just seems we don't have the long lists of problems the other manufacteres have and on megacab we got an awesome deal in vernon texas he seems to want to get rid of them

paid 34000 sticker was 43000 i even had one dealer say go there and buy it he couldn't beat it. he also didn't believe me soi showed him the deal he was pretty upset but who cares. plus they actually treated me well
