Is anyone using after market replacement bulbs? If so which brand? Seems that the OEM bulbs are somewhat "dull" with winter time here less and less daylight, I have heard horror stories of ppl using after market only to have their wiring harrnesses/sockets burn up or melt!!? Piaa? Silver star? Any suggestions? [8D]

 

I PUT THE SILER STARS IN MY WIFE'S SUV AND WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM!! BEEN RUNNING FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS

 

I ordered the super white 80W/100W Xenon Halogen Headlamp Bulb almost a year ago and run them in my wife's '00 Durango and my '01 CTD Ram 2500. I have had them in for alomst a year and no problems. The best thing is that I got them out of JC Whitney's catalog and got two sets of three bulbs so if any go out on either vehicle I have extra. If I remember correctly I only paid around $20 per set.

 

i run silver stars and those are bright.. i can tell that they are whiter than the fog ones.... but i want even brighter fogs... like the xenon lamps... or the super yellow fog lamps.

 

What are the wattages of the stock bulbs?
