OK gang, you've talked me into it. I'm gonna be giving the Brew a shot at my next fill up. I picked up some Mystery Oil and a white bottle of the PS stuff from Walmart tonight.

Here's my question ...

How much of each should I use?

I typically fill up at 1/4 tank and I'm petty sure that's around 24 gallons.

 

16oz of PS and 8oz of MMO and you'll be good to hook.

You should have gotten the gray bottle of PS. the white bottle is a non gelling (winter) bottle.

 

up in philli this time of year, the white bottle will be better to have to make sure the diesel wont gell.

 

Iv started carrying a couple of bottles when we travel.
If I run out I run straight white bottleuntil I get home.
I notice a little louder sound out of the engine without it.
I dont leave home without it.

 

16/8 per tank... usually takes about 30 gallons [sm=alcoholic.gif] which reminds me I need to pay walmart a visit...

 

Is that mix still OK if I'm only putting 23 or so gallons in?

 

it will still work, you could probably lean it up a bit, but starting off at the 16/8 mix is a good starting point.

I would imagine with your smaller tank you could get away with 12oz PS and 6 oz MMO and still have the same mix rate as those with the 35 gallon tanks.
