Hello everyone; Does anyone know how long the injection pump on a 2003 Cummins is supposed to last? I think its a CP3. How about the transfer pump life?? I'm just trying to evaluate when to replace it before it leaves me stranded in the mountains.

 

CP3 will last the life of the engine. . .lift pump will fail when you are the furthest away from a shop you can possably be. change it out, or keep an upgrade kit handy for when you notice problems.
