Default All the Hidden Features?

I will be going to have next oil change soon (doing my own F filter, just don,t have the means to the oil change myself)

I want the "hidden"features on my truck activated while she is in the shop.

I know of the following: Day Time Running Lights (turn on when drive is selected)
Radio turn off delay
High Idle

Are there any other features that can be activated that I have not mentioned? Except the back up alarm!

Thanks in advance

None that I'm aware of, but you might want to ask if the dealer is going to activate the back up alarm BEFORE you take it in. I remember hearing here that once it's done, it can't be UN-done, and the the dealer isn't always up front about letting you know that they are going to do it.

Nels,

I'm not sure but sounds like you listed all the main ones most people inquire about. As far as the back up alarm goes I chuckle everytime someone mentions it.

Mine came with it so I didnt have a choice but I think back to the first (and second and third etc.) times I put it in reverse with my door open and the look on my face (scared the ****e out of me) and then thinking of those who (dealer) put it on and what there first reaction was / is.

Man it just kills me! [sm=lol.gif] (I just did it again myself yesterday) [8D]

So ya, stay away from that one.

You guys keep saying back up alarm, my damn truck honks the horn when going forward as well. It really pisses me off that no one bothers to tell you. The first time it happened I didnt realize my door didnt shut all the way and the horn starts going crazy, then putting it in drive the tranny went into park but the indicator didnt light up (didnt push it hard enough I guess). I shut it off and sat there in the the middle of the street wondering what was wrong.

Stop your killin me!

Oh man thats funny.

Seriously nothing personal but like I said I about crapped myself and the look on my face...... and then lookin around at everyone watching tryin to figure out what this dumn a$$ (me) is doin.......... [sm=scared09.gif]

Thats good info though on the "forward alarm". Doesnt matter though, if and when (and I'm sure it will) happens even though I know now its that first split second or two that I'm like........"what the F@&& is going on!!??" [sm=insomnia.gif]

In the middle of the street you say.... [sm=lol.gif]

I keep sayin we should post this info for us newbies when we join so we dont have to find out the hard way!

Hilarious!

Yea, it has nothing to do with directionality. For you guys who hook up trailers often, a tip is to just hook up the seatbelt before you get in and this disables it so you can back up with the door open and not have to worry about it.

Does this happen even when you have disabled the fasten seatbelt alarm?
