just installed the CFM intake myself. It's actually not carbon fiber. It's just a coating for aesthetic.
It's made out of a advanced composite material. It's very light and couldn't be any smoother on the inside.

I spoke with the guy who sells and designed it. He has degrees in several areas of aero dynamics and seems to know
what he's talking about.

I'll take some picture tomorrow to post.

I've only driven around my 3 stop light town since installing it so, I can't say I've really noticed a difference with it installed.
So far my boost is the same as it was with the stock intake installed.

Not trying to flame but, Carbon Fiber IS an Advanced Composite Material. Maybe it is made of another ACM ?

i can really feel the difference.... with the wastegate and intake make the truck run so effortless... but i looked in the inside of it and i saw so many obstructions inside..the desing isnt smooth but i would like to see it in an airflow test...the cfm im intrested in(posted up on tritons post) the design is smooth and i wonder if the ventrui tube design was applied to it. and composite is a form of carbon...but its not the fiber one... the process is diff but the material are same... i tink thats how it goes...
