At least mine didn't sit in the garage for like 6 months before I got it on.
as of yesterday it was a week.

ok enough of that.

So far. I noticed less down shifting, a little more power and I think I'm going to see some fuel mileage increases. Not much but some.

My set up:
stock cat and Aero 4040XL.

it wasn't as loud as I wanted but it sounds much better.

 

you were supposed to have forgotten that already... (1 month in the garage... actually it was 2 weeks)

I also removed my silencer ring this afternoon. Is it possible to no have a difference in sound from the motor and turbo??

I didn't notice much of a difference in sound at all

You didn't notice a difference in sound after removing the ring? Did you take the cone out, or just the retaining ring? Dude mine sounds like a JET now.

 

I took the snap ring and the cone out and it sounds pretty much the same

 

I took it for a sunday cruise this morning and holy cow!

There is definatley a horsepower increase. Way more than I thought Id get.

MPG is about the same except for the fact I goose it when ever I get a chance to hear it echo.

definatley a worthwhile mod

 

did you see my mpg thread? NEVER have I been able to get above 18 before the aero install. Did the same style of driving on the 2 trips, 68~70 mph on flat roads. most of the time I run around with my box on 1/2 and rarely feel the need for anything more than that. I am extremely happy with the aero.
