Default Thought On Headlight Mod...

I'm kind of a light freak so I was thinking today about altering my headlights. My thought was to move the turn signals down to the orange strip under the headlights. Then add an additional high beam to the outside area where the turn signals currently are. I can't see this involving much more than a little additional wiring. My only real concern is if the stock wiring/fuses can handle an extra high beam bulb without any meltdowns. I suppose I could always throw a relay or two into the mix to handle the extra load if I had to. Has anyone done or seen this before? Thanks for your input. This could make for a nice turkey day project after it get's it's bath!

Not sure if this is true for the 3rd gens, but on the 2nd gens if you don't have fog lights, you can go get a factory switch for fog lights that way It'll keep it looking clean and you'll have a switch to turn those lights on and off.

I have the fog lights. I'm basically thinking of adding a second set of highbeams in place of the turn signals that are to the outside of the headlights now.

Can't say I am familar with the 3rd gens, but it sounds like a really easy mod. I would relay them just because that would be quite a bit more amps.
