The truck now has nearly 22k on it,left monday morning going thru eastern,nc.mainly two lane road for the most part.Did get on I95 and I40 going to Wilmington,nc set the speedy control at 70. Filled up just before I got back to Wilson....631 miles and the low fuel lite had not come on......29.8 gallons=21.1 mpg and the fuel was 2.45.
All of that was with the "BREW"......All I can say is DAMN SKIPPY.
06---quad--4x2--cab high topper..no mods
OH had good eastern,nc BBQ three days in a row...now thats a real DAMN SKIPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys are killing me! Im averaging 14.2 with Drews Brew in town, havent been out on the highway long enough to find out yet. How are you guys doing it?...geeze
I get the same as you when I have my foot into it...
3.20 a gallon here northern ca. Average about 17 mpg right now. only 500 miles on truck so far.
I thought $2.79 was bad here in the central valley of CA.. I am SO GLAD I have the 50 Gal. Transferflow AX tank. With a total of 85 Gallons of diesel on board, I can keep going until I get into an area or State that has lower fuel costs. On the road I always fill up at a one of the major Truck Stops to insure fresh fuel. I avoid the small stations off the beaten track even if they have a lower price for diesel.
there is 1 station local that is still selling for $2.79, everyone else is over $3 in the Sacto area... I wish the truckstop that I used to get my fuel @ would open back up...[:@] they always were the 1st to go down in price when prices started dropping...
