Well, I read a comment that MAyfair made about the AERO and how the 2 rings had to be towards the rear and not towards the muffler. Well I went and checked mine and I have it wrong.
SOB!!!!
I bought it from a guy on here used. he had a length of pipe on the ringed end that came with the aero. Before I installed it I asked him which end mounted to which end and he said he had it installed with the rings towards the cat.
Now
How much of a difference will it make? Will it be louder if I switch it correctly? will I notices even more gains than what I already noticed.
I just want to make sure it is worth messing with because I had to use one of the stock clamps which may make it a pain to remove. and I may have to cut it and have to get a new pipe.

YES, it IS worth it, but juts to make yourself feel better before switching it around, give the guy's at Aero a call and speak to them directly. I'm more curious to if if anything was damaged by running it backwards for so long.

yeah, you need to turn it around. from my understanding if installed backwards it'll run worse than stock.
I cant see how anything could be damaged. it still has more flow than the stock muffler even being backwards. Now I could see the muffler possibly being damaged
Its not that I dont believe you guys I just want to make sure I take care of it in a timely manner
Acording to AERO the muffler will be fine and should harm anything. But it will perform better running it correctly. LOL
He also said he gets about 12 calls a day reguarding this same issue. HA HA
lots of other tards besides me.
