Default Dumb question......

Sorry, my boss has a 2005 Dodge and he has never used the block heater. Where is the cord at? We looked on my 2001 and it's a pain to get to but I know where it is. On his truck the manual says behind right headlight and also behind grill. We still cannot find it. Anyone have any answers?

Well, if his truck is anything like the newer models.... there is no cord. It has to be purchased and plugged into the block heater which on my truck anyway is just under the exhaust manifold on the block close to the turbo.

There about $35 ! and can be bought at the dealer and I've also seen them on ebay.

it may not be installed... mine is right where you described and was pretty easy to see. if you look up from the bottom of the bumper between the bumper & rad support you should see it if it's installed and it'll be exactly like the end of an extention cord.

Thanks All! I figured it didn't come with it. That sucks, but its life. Living in the snowy mountains you would think they would come with it. I'll let him know.

Calling Cummins Now! Hope they are still cheap. I feel bad cause mines always plugged in and he never has heat!!! LOL! Our high today is 26 degrees. Dealer wanted $41.00 locally. Cummins wants $12.93. Can't beat that. he said his Grand Junction store has it, less shipping!!! If you need Cummins number anyone- here it is (303) 287-0201 or visit cummins.com
