I have been looking into some chips for my 2003 and have been running across these "boost foolers" it seems that the stock 03's only produce around 23-24 psi, and according to -qaudzilla (who offers this boost fooler) the 2003-04 you have to modify the wastegate mechanicly to increas boost, but it doesnt explain how to go about this. Can anyone help me on this. truck is a 03 with the 305/555

 

your 03 is still mechanical. you just need a boost elbow to bleed off the pressure before it hits the diaphram that opens up the gate.

the elbow goes on the compressor houseing and it has an allen head that you can back out to achieve the desired pressure.
