If you turn the key on does the wait to start lamp illuminate? If it does the ecm is powering up. If it doesnt, check power and grounds to the ecm.

I am new to this, sorry . I didn't notice how old this thread is.

I will carry out more checks with the feeds and earths and check the wait to start lamp.

Anyone know what happened to the original truck in this thread??

That dealership is full of sh*t. There is a list of things in the owners manual that voids the warranty, and there is ever directions on the battery for "jumping" vehicles. You should report the Dealership to the Better Business Bureau. That is rediculous.
