Default 2005 3500 4x4 Front Wheel Bearing Repacking

Well this weekend I finally repacked my front wheel bearing on the drivers side and all went well and I learned a thing or two. I have taken pictures of the process and will post them tonight with key points that I learned in this process. I will elaborate in more detail tonight for anyone who might be interested.

It's a two wheel drive so all there should be is a dust cap. Pull the cap off and there should be a nut with a cotter key, unless they changed the design. after pulling the nut, the whole hub should slide off. Pull the seal and the inner bearing should come out.

are 06' 4x4 front hubs the same as 05' and are 3500 and 2500 front hubs the same????
how much of a diffrence do uthink these hubs would make in milage?? how much more strength would it add to the front end? anyone had any probes with breaking axles???
and wouldent it be a pain to have to hop out and lock the axles each time u wanna go mudding???? theres been many a time where ive veard of the main road in a construction site for some quick getting some mudd on the tires time it wouldent be as fun if i had to hop out and lock the axles...

Thanks for your patience guys/gals.

Here is how I made out repacking my right front wheel bearing.
1) Shift truck into 4x4, remove master brake cyclinder cap, jack up the front end both sides, next remove the front tire.
2) Retrack brake pistons back into caliper and remove caliper from rotor and tie wrap to front spring
3)Remove caliper bracket and front brake rotor
