MMMMM..... 45-70, Me want bad. I hope to trade this spring for a 45-70. Nothing like a 400gr bullet at about 2000fps. Kill on one end, wound on the other.

 

I ran up to kessel rings the other day, had a marlin 45-70 lever action in stainless with the grey wood laminate stock. Almost had another gun[:@]

 

Id like a 45/70 as well. I want to trade my 125 gallon fish tank for another high powered rifle or a muzzleloader.

 

I love my 1895G. I am suprised at how accurate it can be with good ammo. I have tried some Garret Cartridges and Buffalo Bore, but I really like Winchester's partition gold (due to cost per shot).

People hate sitting next to me at a range due to the barrel porting. That gun likes to spue unburnt power on people.


If you want to play with a really fun gun, I am picking my baby up from the Gunsmith this Friday. Man I have missed my TRG22.

 

do u have that tompson encore cuz i just bought one for my dad for christmas and i wonder if i should take it back or not cuz idk how they r but i see alot of advirtising for them

 

The encore is a very nice muzzle loader.

fo a few hundred you can get a different barrel and have a whole new rifle of most calibers.

 

the encore is a good gun, the one I use now is the encore Pro Hunter, the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have an adjustable trigger. you can use encore barrels on the pro hunter and visa versa.
