Default Co-workers new truck...

ok, so one of the 2 guys thinking about a new truck (not the ford guy, the 2001 dodge ram guy) bought an '06 mega cab 1/2 ton 4x4 with a hemi. he said the CTD's were still way too much for him so this was the next best bet. I took a look at it today and it is damn sweet, too long for me but it's damn sweet. took a look at his suspension an he has the same suspension as the 3/4 ton trucks do... and it's a 1/2 ton 1500. He also has 8 lug wheels on there as well, big rear disks and looks like oversized rear leaf springs.

anyways, just thought i'd throw that out there... it is a nice truck.

Poor MAYFAIR...
Steve05 - does this 1500 use the same frame rails as the heavier trucks? What about the front suspension? There used to be some substantial differences - I wonder what's up with making them the same now...

I noticed that Jake made his sheep a ram by making it darker. No more pink lips

It was wet out so I didnt have a peak underneat to well... just looked @ the front suspension & rear to see the setup. I think since it's a bigger truck, DC decided to beef it up some. to me the rear brakes look as big as mine. I should put them side by side when I take the pics...
