ok so went to dealer to get 1st LOF for free and asked about front driveshaft lube and got a blank stare ,and was told it did not have one. so stupid me argued with peon at service desk (bad idea) and they insisted it didnt have a lube point. so i asked for it to be put on service receipt and they did. see attached!! so now what, call dodge yell at service manager or what why cant they keep up on there own product info.but you touch the truck and they freek out??

Try another dealer before you blow a gasket...( I tried a few before I found one I trusted - then I moved and had to go through the process again - but now I rest easy because I know I can trust the one I use)

I don't know about the big 3500, but my tiny 2500 4x4 has a sticker that stares you in da face when you open ze hood. LUBE THAT SHAFT! Or something less pornographic.

 

yup, agreed, mine has a sticker pointing it out...

 

Man that would be awesome if he had that sticker and he whipped back into that same dealer and showed it to him.

 

Yup got the sticker goin to dealer tommorow to talk to service manager. so we will see!!

 

Calm and nice may get you some more free service. Blasting them to hell will get you nothing.

 

This dealerships service is the free type i can do without. i already spoke to service manager today and he tried to appologise for the screwup, but he pissed me off by blaming the tech ,the service writer, and everyone else he could think of and he didnt even know abou the driveshaft lube. so i informed him about my mechanic experiance and told him that as a manager of a dealer this inept ,i dont know attitude is flat unnacceptable ,if he is the leader of the maint team and he didnt know how can he blame the tech and service writer ,and i told him i did not appreciate being trated like a disgruntled wallmart customer with a bad dvd return. its a $45000 vehicle but i have people with the inteligance of wallmart dealing with me ,ive spoken with 4 people from dealer and each one said i dont know so what the fu#k are they doing there?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH ok i feel better sorry for the rant i will see what happens tommorow!
