nope, those things just replace the stock lense covers. . .and what I'm doing just taps into an existing wire on the harness, no need for a new one.

thats is just adding in a low power relay to turn the lights on. so instead of all the current for the lights routeing through the switch itself it moves it to a relay and higher gage wireing that can handle the load of brighter lights. that realy is not replaceing the full harness, just adding in a little bit so you can run those high output lights and keep your ride from turning into car-b-que

So your existing stock wires can handle the addition of all of these lights with no problems at all ??

as long as they are low current. LED's dont pull much, this is why I would want to use them. start putting incandescent bulbs there and the current draw goes up alot. this is where haveing that relay comes in handy so you can increase the size of the wire to handle the load.

I was wanting to put cab lights on my 06, i was looking at the ones for 50 bucks in the Northern Tool company magazine. I was just wanting to know if they come stock with a wiring harness above the head liner or if you have to purchase one. Has neone installed them on the truck, Im the kind of guy who likes to do things myself. If its a really big job might just take it somewhere.... Thanks for any adivce/ input.
