I added some lights to my truck...

They are from Recon Accessories. The Big Rig LED light bar. They're tied in with the flashers too...

I have them on mine too, had them on my last two trucks. The truckers call them "chicken lights".

How did they hold up for you? I am interested to see how well they will do once it starts snowing here. Oh well, they look cool now....

I had them on my '99 truck until '04 replaced them once ( kicked a few out getting in the truck). I had them on my '04 truck until '06 when I got my current truck. Really no problems with them here.

Never liked the look of clear plastic therefor all my lights will stay with the colored lenses. Nice touch adding the lights, now how about a couple underneath the mirrors (I'm still working on how I want to do those)

Ive been trying to figure the same thing. I'm thinking 4-6 orange 12v LED's, drill some holes evenly spaced in the mirror assembly and run the wireing with the power mirror loom to the turn signal. . .just have yet to do it

RE: In true jakebrake fashion......
I spent quite a while in the garage yesterday looking at the mirrors trying to figure something out. I want to get a pair of mirrors from a junk yard to play with to try and figure out how to get something flush mounted. I'm thinking of adding some more lights under the front bumper on the black fascia.

I was bored on day so I thought I would see what the truck would look like with another set of cab lights.

I think it might be a bit much, and the spacing is a little off due to the outside lights. So to get the effect I would want, I would have to redo all the lights, and that ain't gonna happen. Don't need that many holes in the roof.

They are the stock clearance lights. I agree with jake, never been a fan of the clear or smoked, the lights never look quite as good at night.

Although on a black truck, the smoked would probably look pretty sweet.

If you want to go the easy and expensive way to get some lights on your mirrors, you could try this
