Dealer question
Awhile back I had my truck serviced (1st oil change free) at the dealer and service writer said that DC would be sending a survey form to me about the service. He also told me that if I bring the form and envelope to him and fill it out there, he'd give me a free oil change. Question is, is this normal? I'm guessing he wants a good "report card".. Can I bargain for something other than just the oil change, like maybe a discount on bedliner or something?
I say go for it and try to get more look at it this way if he promised free oilchange then all you can do is get more if u barter with him. Way I see it you have nothing to lose. I wish my dodge dealer in the area was that friendly. They kinda stink to tell the truth. Just went down last night to test drive an 07 2500 CTD qc sb laramie j pckg that they said they had in inventory over the phone. So i drive the half hr and to my surprise they say they made a mistake the truck they have wasn't a ctd but a hemi. Sorry went off on a tangent but back to ur stuff go for it man get the discount bedliner couldnt hurt to ask
This Bugs me......when dealers play thease games. Ford and GM do this as well, If a dealer is going to offer a perk, step up and offer it.
Who needs to be held hostage for a oil change.
I was offerd a check for $2.00 from a marketing firm hired by Daimler Chrysler ( canada ) to fill out a survey after I bought my 06 2500 Ram, and The puke sales person offerd the free oil change B/S if I brought in a good report card...
