Congrats Drew and to your wife..... the thought of having a kid scared the hell out fo me but then..... she was born

 

Be prepared for no sleep BEFORE the actual birth. Tow days before D-Day, we had a false alarm,,, got 3hrs of sleep before going to work (keep in mind that I work on power lines for a living).The night before the D-Day, her mom flies in from Ft. Lauderdale,, had to drive to Austin to get her ( 1hr there and 1hr back), got to bed at 2am, three more hrs sleep. D-Day, got a call around luch," shes comin,move ur ***",,,, stayed up all nite waiting,,, waiting,,,waiting,,, things calm down,,, sleep around 1am, woke at 3am to the sound of "SHES COMING",, lots of pushing and breathing,,, (oh,, the hand squeezing is right,, I had to take offmy wedding ring) fiiiiinnnaaaallllly 0503 1 June 2006,, there she was, screeming and hungry. Oh,, and that nite was spent in the hospital,, so I got,,, u guessed it,, 3 hrs sleep. Through the whole thing,, I lost 10lbs,, and my wife was so exhausted, that she fell asleep on the floor at home,,, right nex to the baby.. All in all,, it was the funnest thing I've ever done. OH,, the guns are cleaned and loaded,,, I have a shotgun, glock 45, soon a beretta 9mm, and a shovel.

 

HA HA HA. . .I'm actualy looking at getting a small front end loader with a back hoe attachment for yard work. . .that should do the trick with the 1.5ac I have.

 

I have a few 308's, you can get too them long before they reach the front door you do know that Drew doesn't need a mess near the front door to clean up or to where they can do this easily.
