I have a 2001 24' Crownline 239 DB (deckboat) 26' with the swim-step, with the VolvPenta 5.7GXI Duo-Prop. It is rated for 14 passengers, with a bathroom. I pull tubes, fish, and party. Ispend most of my time in LakeHavasu, AZ. I did venture out in the Deltaearlier this year and Lake Berryessa.I put in a serious stero system. My boat tops out at about 50-mph so I am not the fastest thing out there, but when I get to my destination and park it, my boat is one of the loudest. My boat has been good so far. The Volvo engines are nearly indestructable, justlike the CTD.There are lots of optionsout there in boats. If you are getting one for the first time be sure to do your research and get the boat that will fit your needs.Don't just jump in buy something, start boating only to find that you wish you had boat another type of boat. I bought my boat from my best friend who bought it new. He did all of the little things like bimini top, storagecover, swim step, trim tabs, snap-cover, anchors, (stuff that cost lost of money) so it was basically and turn key boat for me. My friend decidedhe wanted a "chick boat" so he boat a 29' Donzi ZX, twin-engine. So I gained from his loss so to speak. Right after he bought the Donzi 29', he wish he would have went for the 35' for more room. Anyway good luck and if your haveany more questions I would be sure to pass on 2-cents.

If you get a chance come out to Lake Havasu and you will get see a wide range of boats. Heck I will even buy you a beer.
